Introduction To Thoughts

 

To start with the most important point—You are not your thoughts.

    The end goal in mind of this book, these written concepts, the personal experiences and explored wisdom—­To shed light on the darkness of mind in order to harmonise with positively impacting choices, fulfilling desires with rewarding actions; creating paths of uplifting and enjoyable options of a lifestyle with direction, meaning and purpose; of what we all seek in one way of another through different forms of art and craft, language and methods of communication. I hope you take these words with a pinch of salt and look towards the greater meaning of the text in context of your life. Remember you are the reason for these words, whether or not they make sense right now. Each concept you contemplate will aid your minds ability to process and better understand though conscious and unconscious awareness; to resolve problems and concerns, towards identifying a more rewarding outcome of beneficial choice. I thus dare to say that reading this book will be a trigger for one of many positive thoughts of which may aid you in more than one way, but for life. Just as a plant required specific quality nutrients to support growth, man need words and metaphors to apply concepts to meaningful well directed life to grow in person and profession.

Introduction

    We all have voices that pass through our mind, within the mind and of the mind; some are subtle in nature, some overwhelmingly loud, while others seem to be head-splitting and of critical importance.

    The problem arrises when one forgets monitor thoughts, or does not have the skills or deggree of understanding how to manage and monitor thoughts.

    The very act of thinking is powerful and autonomous. No matter where ones focus lies, the conscious and unconscious mechanisms of the mind make triggered associations from memory to the imaginations canvas to soon paint pictures or future scenarios in mind. Visualisation: for where would the creative side of man lie without visualisation, giving life a sense of direction, purpose and creativeness. What would man have achieved if visualisation or the power to choose ceased to exist. I will put it out there that choice and visualisation are the yin and yang of purpose and direction of focus. They need each other as much as they can oppose each other. But to work together and you have harmony of mind, body and lifestlye. The very challenge we all face and struggle with; to find a sense of purpose that equala and works with the avility to visualise and choose to direct focus to those meaningful acts more so than threats and concerns. In times of threat, the imagination can corrupt ones ability to think straight, clear thinking is blocked by the barriers in mind from sense of direction, focus and reason. Threat draws focus like a fly to luminescents. The reason: protection and safety.

    We all think and have the ability to choose but for some reason or another we forget exactly that, as if what we feel as is less of a choice and more a detirminent of fate. If the choice to think or direction of thoughts did not exist, choice itself would no longer exist. For aslong as there is choice, there is choice in what to choose. The choices you identify with are determined by ones perceptive and problem solving ability. Choice, thought and feelings each bring light to each others nature, crossing paths to be guided towards the resulting desirable outcome. If it was not for conscious abiltiy to choose, the circumsatantial environment would determine ones state of thought, frame of mind and most probably feelings withing, but we know this is not true. Our understanding shows we are not all thinkng the same way, just as we are not always feeling in the same way. The circumstance is not the be all end all of ones thinking capability. More so it acts as a trigger to the associated memories of similar occasions in the past or near present or envisioned future.

The Mind and Mechanisms

    The mind began to wonder as per usual, negative repetitive thinking forming the regular pattern of thinking. Thoughts turning in to darkening concerns like a thunderstorm of collected concerns and worries negatively charging together, about to strike at the heart of the desired land of peace in mind.

      Fear moulding doubt in to an unpercievable spreading wildfire, threatened of being burn’t from the invisible fires within. Questions flung in to the conscious proximity by the super charged winds of emotion. One’s field of awareness now drawn to the thoughts of greatest threat, to the winds blasting through the lands in mind, bringing destruction to the path of mirrored life. Questions stirring the mix of distressing emotion and physical needs. Now churning as the gut tosses and turns. The mind turning inside out as I ask myself: Why am I threatened by all others? Why do I feel the need to look a certain way or be of certain significance; someone others want to see? How can I be healthy and successful? Why is life often a thunderstorm of events of which I have no control over? What is my fate? Is life of mind cause the distressing effects that i connot control? How can I successfully cause a positive effect on my lifestyle and the life of those mos important to me?

What were once challenges became the change catalysts to personal development. And now? The roots in mind continue a direction of growth towards conscious fulfilment…
